Cyber Witch Hunt

The cases of mob-like cyberbullying are skyrocketing. Proven guilty or not for a crime or false doing, a flock of keyboard warriors would throw insults at the suspect with all their might, in hopes to drag and drown them. This scenario has been prevalent and witnessed not only in our timeline but throughout the history of mankind and this motion graphics attempts to highlight the similarities between the two timelines and their severity.

For my Bachelor’s Final Year Project, I was tasked to highlight a problem as a digital citizen and present a solution. The problem that I have chosen is mob-like cyberbullying and the solution I have chosen is to create a motion graphic that highlights the behaviour of mobs/witch hunts throughout history and its transition into a digital world to show the similarities of both events despite the distinctive timeline to raise awareness of the issue.
